Well I'm definitely going to buy this right away, but what I really want is a true sequel to Alan Wake. A game with the original sensibilities, pacing, and story structure... Not some arcade game that started as a horde mode that just happened to have a story tacked on later. Alan Wake isn't supposed to have high scores, machine guns, or mutants with circular saws. I'm sorry, but it definitely feels like the wrong direction. I'll buy it in the hopes that I'll be helping Remedy finance a true sequel.

I call bullshit! I'm not going to buy a $40 artbook, let alone PRE-ORDER it just so I can get the right to use the same exact rifle I already bought the ME2 Limited Edition to obtain.

^^^ When the two types are combined in a playlist, nobody ever votes for Warzone anyway, bro. I like WZ, but it just doesn't get chosen.
I'm more interested/ frustrated with how difficult it is to actually play the new maps in a public game. I haven't checked today, but as of yesterday, the only playlists that seemed to include the Fenix maps were Alpha Execution and Stay Frosty Experimental Warzone, both of which are one life, single round encounters. This is my problem with map packs; you alienate and segregate your own playerbase. People who don't feel like paying ten dollars for some maps (plenty of normal people and just about all PC players who remember when maps were always free) are excluded and you only get to play with the smaller percentage of people who DID buy them. Also, in that case, you usually have to use a playlist that includes the DLC maps and ONLY the DLC maps.

Guarantee that this is the primary reason the MP even exists. God knows that was the case with Dead Space 2.
I'll be buying it on day one, but this just keeps deteriorating my opinion of publishers like EA.

This is a little frustrating. All of that content on the disc and it's being held back to charge us later. So many people go on saying "Well I have the season pass, so I get it all for free!" No, you get it all for paying $30 in advance. And if that first DLC pack in November is comprised mostly of content that is already on the disc, then I feel like a fool for having to wait. The game only has 10 god damn maps, so I think we deserve it. Especially since it's, you know... finished.
