Nashville: 512kbps down, 4kbps up. (yes, 4up and 53,412 ms latency)

sent 1.4mb photo from iphone while I was out on 3G.
sent it at 1:47pm. Just finished sending at 2:02pm. That is 15 minutes to send the file. That is worse then Edge network.

AT&T response from my call: "We are always trying to improve our service."

My edge is much faster upload then 3g. Called AT& T and got the blanket statement "we are always trying to improve service, perhaps its your phone".
This sucks, my whole purpose for getting the iPhone 4 was for 3g speeds. I was on edge with my 1gen iPhone. Edge was much faster sending email and photos. My coverage area on their website shows BEST coverage.

My biggest gripe is that they don't tell you what is included in the update. I mean disk space is precious on my 4GB iPhone so I would like to know if it is worth losing even more to some new update that does "who knows what". Going to have to fleabay this one and get a larger phone as Apple will have claimed nearly 1GB of space just on the OS and updates. THIS STINKS.
