And their market share is nowhere near 12%. Maybe the laptop market in the US but not worldwide computer users.

And when you consider how much they had going for them on the back of the iPod, the negative view of Vista and their massive advertisement campaign they have failed to make a dent. They're still in the same place they were 4 years ago.

Why not? For too long now Acer, Asus and MSI have been rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic. If they price this right (and I'm talking $399-$499) and it's ION based then they could be onto a winner.

I probably could've left out the message but where's the fun in that? It took me 5 seconds to find that link and another 20 to read it. You came back twice in an attempt to show the world how evil Microsoft is.

The truth is, instead of looking down from your Ivory Tower hissing at everyone who goes by you should embrace new technologies. There is no need to be so negative (you could always just uninstall the thing) but your comment combined with the rather childish "Warning" from Engadget really irked me.

It's just another part of the OS for developers to work with. It's not a major selling point that's going to change the way you use computers. Touch screens are becoming more common and Microsoft just stepped in and gave everyone a base to work off instead of having 10 different third-party drivers.
