I'm really confused as to why my comments are repeatedly being denied. Do you not like it when people call you out on your sensationalism, Joystiq?

@tendoboy1984 Dear lord, yes. That would allow me to die happy. And I really liked the licensed goods that were the collectible treasure in Pikmin 2. I remember when I found that Snapple lid I almost lost it. If Pikmin 3 involves any treasure collecting, I hope they do the same.

PIIIIIIIIIIIKMIIIIIIIIIIN. I am so excited for this. I was already excited when it was planned for Wii, but I am super stoked for seeing what they can do with it on Wii U.

@tendoboy1984 I suppose Luigi's Mansion 2 counts. I mean, they didn't "announce" anything, but they had some new title up at the very end, when all of those logos popped up. I can't remember off the top of my head, but I remember Mario Party 9. OOOOOOHHHHH. And I remember the Kirby Wii logo and a Dragon Quest Monsters 2 logo.

Oh. My. Lord. If you've ever even played Paper Mario 64, you can tell by looking at SCREENSHOTS that this is not a port. Seriously, I nearly have that game memorized (right down to Shy Guy's Toybox), and I didn't even have to watch the trailer to tell that this is a new game. While Joystiq has been trolling Nintendo fans these past couple days, I don't think they were trying to insinuate that this is a port, but they had to be pretty darn thoughtless to word the article this way. Sheesh.

@Urethra Alfredo I actually kind of liked Wii's name, but I was hoping for something else with Wii U's name. Maybe Super Wii, but hey, whatever.

@RedManiac Yeah, Monster has been doing the "Excite" series since Excitetruck. They also did Pilotwings Resort and Wiiware's Excitebike: World Rally. I've really enjoyed everything they've done, but they seem to do vehicular things, so it would be odd to see Monster working on Luigi's Mansion. But wow, didn't expect them to let someone else handle Luigi's Mansion 2. I'm super stoked for it.
