This is why I voted against Aaron Rodgers in every round.
That, and the concept of a white RB/FB tweener with one good season who plays on a bad team gracing the cover of Madden was kind of hilarious, so I definitely voted for Hillis.
I had the collector's edition preordered, but I'm thinking of cancelling if Mass Effect 3 has multiplayer. I'm still going to buy it, but I'd rather buy it used if it has an online pass for multiplayer (and nothing else) since I have no interest whatsoever in Mass Effect 3's multiplayer, and I have no idea what to do with an unredeemed online pass. You can't sell them, can you?
@Muu This is why I very much prefer "points" to a cash system. I've bought tons of games on XBLA, but I've never once paid MSRP for Microsoft points. Opportunities to get 4000 MSP for $40 crop up often enough that I see a 400 point game or an 800 point game and I can see those as a $4 game or an $8 game. Spending $4 or $8 for your game is better than spending $5 or $10 for the same game.
Hmm... so the issue is you can't apply a title update. Does the game actually become "unplayable" without the update, or is it just "you can't play online because you can't update"?
Since if it's the latter, I'll probably just see if I can sell the On-Demand code, since I only actually care to play the single-player campaign.
@(Unverified) Did you try playing Trenched with other people? It's a lot better with a crowd.
I agree a little bit in that Costume Quest was brilliant, and Stacking was more interested in being funny and clever than it was in being a game (it was very funny and clever), but Trenched is actually a solid game if a tad lonely when you're playing by yourself.
I hope they sell a hundred billion copies of SS:OUAM though.
It would have been a real tragedy has Double Fine went under. Of course, the fact that people didn't buy Psychonauts was a real tragedy too, and that went unmarked by much of the gaming populous.
Seriously, go buy Psychonauts. It's on Steam, GoG, and XBL.
Wait... did nobody working at Joystiq know about Dwarf Fortress... or did just the author of this article just not know about it? The latter is forgivable, but the former is absolutely not. DF is far from an obscure game.
Wait, I'm confused. 13% of people use the default male Shepherd, 83% of people customize their character in some way. So (100-83-13)=4% of people use the default female Shepherd, and 18% of 83% (is this additive or multiplicative?) use a non-default female Shepherd?
So is it 18%, 18.94%, or 22% of Mass Effect 2 playthroughs which are done with some female Shepherd or another?
@Spiffypants I was keeping score at home, and I had the God of War collection as a Remaster but I didn't count it as new (because it is just a remaster). So I don't think there's a Bingo.
This Madden curse might actually be a real thing: Peyton Hillis is injured
