Are they crazy? People renting it to try it out or buying it used can't afford to pay to play multiplayer, so all this will do is drive people away!

I have no problem paying for my XBL gold subscription to play multiplayer (and if you have a problem with XBL Gold, good for you, i don't really care, please dont tell me about it), but why would I essentially pay twice for one component of the game?

this is the same shitty tactic that made Homefront the flop that it was.(well, that, and the fact that the campaign sucked too... but that's an entirely different rant.)

@MatthewBlackwell how is that inaccurate? a majority of HARDCORE gamers (better wording for you?) prefer HD graphics and FPS and action games like CoD, Gears, Halo or, on the PS3 side, Killzone and Uncharted. so why is saying that gamers prefer shooters insulting?

I have no interest in kiddie games with gimmicky controlls, and a lot ofpeople feel the same way. doesn't mean you have to. chill out bro

just because a lot of Kinect units have moved doesn't mean that everybody wants to hear about Kinect over other things. I own a Kinect. Yes it's fun, but I would much rather hear about real games than Kinect games

It's just like the Wii. lots of people own them, but I know very few people between the ages of 8 and 50 who use their Wii on any type of a regular basis

Halo 1 + HD Graphics+ Achievements+ New multiplayer maps for Reach= $60 that I will be MORE than happy to spend

I have to say, i'm disappointed by this. I hoped that Nintendo would try to make a new appeal to real gamers, not gimmick-y fad gaming.

i was always a big Gamecube fan, but I moved totally to Xbox once the Wii came out.
