Not the same thing at all. Megabloks uses far poorer quality plastic and molds, which results in virtually all their sets having several miscast bricks and poor fitting bricks.
With the Halo kits i've bought the things fall apart as soon as anyone breathes on them, the only way i got them to stay together long enough to actually put in my display case was to superglue the parts together. Kinda defeats the purpose of a construction block toy really.
They can churn out all the fancy videos they want, but if it's Cryptic on the box then there is no way in hell i will ever buy it. I made that mistake once with the piece of garbage they passed off as Star Trek Online, never again.
