Dead Rising 2: Off the Record will cost $40 in North America
Jun 13th 2011 4:50PM (Joystiq)This is a viewpoint I don't understand.
If one desires a game, and Capcom makes it, should they not purchase it? I don't care that it just came out, I don't care that I already have the special edition of 2 and both DLC's, I want this game, it looks fun and hilarious.
40 dollars is peanuts anyway

3DS finally reaches a million sales in Japan
Jun 13th 2011 4:41PM (Joystiq)All the previous models of DS hovered near 200 dollars when first released,.(I know, I have had every model, and went through 2 DS lites) 50 dollars more for a more powerful version with better 3D isn't much more to ask.
The launch titles may have been less then ideal, at least from a NIntendo release standpoint. I maintain that SSF4 3D is better then the newly released Arcade Edition DLC. Steel Diver is not the greatest game ever, but worth playing with just because of the unique controls and concept. Also DOA and Blazblue were just released as well, I don't know as much about DOA but Blazblue is a faithful and amusing port of the others. If you like Blazblue at all, pick it up.
It looks like the first months were for fighting game fans. Anyway I'd be surprised if this months release of OOT (often considered the greatest game of all time) and a new Resident Evil game don't pick up the sales a bit, I know I will be picking up both.
The E-shop's prices aren't high either, $5 for Mario Land? Good luck finding a copy that works as well and a Gameboy that works as well for that low price.
By years end the sales will be more then good, people acting like the ship is sinking amuse me.
