Joyswag: Alpha Protocol-themed 8GB iPod Touches [update]

May 27th 2010 5:21PM (Joystiq)
Oh man, I would pay for one of those!

A spy could hook it up to a speaker system and play Kung Fu Fighting while he goes he takes out all the confused and probably scared guards.

See Marshall Lee from the upcoming Tekken movie

I agree, that fight was awesome. And yea, since when has he entered the film industry? =P I'm still thinking that all video game movies should be in CG! =)

Operation Darkness demo on XBL Marketplace

Apr 24th 2008 4:09PM (Joystiq Xbox)
I'm kind of disappointed with this demo. It's a decent game from what I played... but it's actually fairly hard. I mean, if one of your three of eight - or was it 12? - characters die... game over. And it becomes way too unfair when the enemy can pull a rocket launcher out of his @$$ and blast you away. Anyway, it's kind of slow. I mean, I'm a S-RPG fan - Disgaea, Final Fantasy Tactics, Front Mission, all my favorite games - but this is even slower than I thought possible. I mean, when you have to go 5 turns before you can engage the enemy... you know something is wrong. In any case... this should really not be a full priced game. I'll buy it if I find it for $20 MAYBE $30.

Sing along with the chorus in this Alone in the Dark trailer

Am I the only one who thinks this game is going to be overlooked big time? I love the past games; can't wait for this one.

Rumor: MGS4 leaked release date? [Update]

Feb 23rd 2008 2:15PM (Joystiq Playstation)
Remember, this is Famitsu - a Japanese magazine - so it's regular for games there to release on Thursdays and Fridays.

In any case... fake or not, I wouldn't be surprised if the game was released in early or mid June. I would like it a bit sooner - late April or early May so my exams won't get in the way - but I'll take what I get.

Konami's Press Briefing peculiar poetic precursor

Policenauts 2! It'd be nice if they'd announce the third ZOE.

Killzone 2 screenshot to get us hyped for tonight's demo event

Jul 10th 2007 2:13PM (Joystiq Playstation)
I'm sorry, this looks horrible. I had high hopes, but these have thrown them down. It is still a bit early, but I don't think pre-pre alpha considering the game has been in-development for more than 2 years now... I expected more... They will improve it... but I'm sorry, if they're trying to show off what the system can do... this is definitely not it.

Fanswag: Fanboys Fight for The Darkness

The 360 version of The Darkness is better than the PS3 version because... Well who doesn't like Achievements and Rumble Feedback?

Haze coming 2007 for PS3, may only be timed exclusive

May 23rd 2007 3:58PM (Joystiq)
I think this is a good idea. I'm not sure if Sony dished out some cash for this, It may be Ubisoft's decision. Like Nick and Triforce said, the 360 has a hell of a lot of FPS' coming out and lots of other games this Fall, so people's wallets will be limited. So if they were to release the 360 and or PC game in early 2008 when there isn't that many games, nor FPS' and when people's wallets begin to fatten up, they're looking at more $$.

Not to say the PS3 has lots of games coming out this Fall, but barely any FPS' to compete against Haze

RPG fans denied: Two Worlds delayed

May 4th 2007 5:23PM (Joystiq Xbox)
The American release date has been June 26th for quite some time now. I know the North America's release date on their publishers (SouthPeak) site has said 6/26 for atleast a month now.
