Both PSN and PSone games were grayed out for me in the download list on my PSVita. But them fixing the minis thing means that there is some hope for PSone games. ; ;
PSN games are more up to the developers/publishers of the game. For example, Oddworld is porting their game to the PSV, and I hope it is the same PSN version, because I have already bought that.
I wish that they would at least let us download the not listed PSP games on the store from my download list without the need of a PS3 to copy them over to the vita, because right now, they are grayed out as well. :/
I wanted to download Killzone and few other PSP games that I owned, but with my PS3 stolen, and waiting to maybe buy another until the summer makes this sucky.
I mean, c'mon. "They have repeatedly failed to live up to this responsibility" So...there is no rating labels on games then? And someone else should do the parenting for kids and not the actual parents? You know, least they can do is flip the game and check the other side for more rating information as THEY should. It is already on all games!
The few times I bought a video game in local stores, they ID'd me every time I had an M rated game to buy.
(The release of Dead Space 1 comes to mind for me as I couldn't wait for shipping back then and I just went to buy it...Now it is all amazon and release day shipping)
Apparently, it is up to them and that it is very possible to do. But I really don't understand why they don't let it happen on many of the current games.
BlazBlue is playable over a 3G connection just fine. Unless latency/lag is an issue for Capcom's games, I don't see why they couldn't do it for their UmC game.
Or maybe I should have said it is up to the publishers? Since Blazblue works.
Going to hate Unit13 if it only works coop with a friend on the same wifi network and not over the internet. I know the leaderboard crap is supposed to work over 3G.
Very misleading, and just reminds me of the iOS's competitive leaderboards, which I don't find appealing. Might as well just play online against your friends.
It seems like a missed opportunity here because of the cross-play between the PS3 and PSV on the same version and for that price..Now my interest is lower than it was even though I will still buy it because of how cheap it is for both versions in one and the four players split screen for my brother.
Then this statement is very vague especially cross-play and only refers to the leaderboards...
"The ethos of MotorStorm RC’s competitive play has always been convenience and, with leaderboard challenges between friends and cross-play across both PS Vita and PS3, it’s never been easier to beat your friends, no matter what platform you’re playing on or what time of day it is."
I guess I need some better reading comprehension. The feeling of disappointment, oh well. -_-
Isn't SE the publisher for the games you mentioned? Sony is publishing these games, so they control them whatever way they see fit, but they have no rights to the games you mentioned I believe.
It would e cool if SE actually did any of that though as I'd buy them.

Feb 23rd 2012 12:57AM (Joystiq)I just googled it too and found this post that I missed:
