I hate to admit it but I used to be a HUGE fan of the series when I was a kid. In fact it really got me into video games on the PC at the time.

Im having a hard time believing that anyone that has antyhing to do with the series would approve of this. You cant just make ANY game and call it Wing Commander!

The things that make Wing Commander are no where near this game...umm lets see..how about a WING MEN that you can talk/control and a cockpit view...waypoints...weapon load outs...STORY...etc

Wing Commander Arena...whatever..the idea alone is just stupid.

Someone should be SHOT in the FACE for this!hahaha

PS3 scaling functionality unearthed

I have a weird question. And in all my reading I have never had anyone answer this. I have a Sony 60in XBR1 1080p TV that was one of the ones that couldnt accept a 1080p signal but can upconvert everything to 1080p internally. Should I be setting everything up to 1080i? Would that make it "Like" 1080p? Im confused about the quality of video Im getting. Or whould I be better off setting it to 720p since the 360/PS3 would be sending a progressive signal? To me things seem a lot sharper on 1080i of course but I dont know if 720p would be better since it isnt converting anything.
