I feel like this headline is a bit misleading, but that's just me.

The Daily Grind: Are heirloom items bad for MMOs?

Feb 20th 2012 9:56AM (Massively)
I actually like the heirloom items. It gives the player something else to spend justice points on after they no longer need anything, and I like that they use some of my favorite armor and weapon models from classic WoW.

To me, issues such as the power of crafted items are seperate. I would argue that the value of crafted weapons and armor has been miniscule since probably Vanilla WoW, for the most part. I always thought crafted gear should be more relevant, but I don't think heirloom items are the problem.

As if mmo's were ever hard in the first place.

Idiot.

WoW loses another 100,000 subscribers

The fact that they've managed to hang on to upwards of 10 million subscribers this long is impressive, despite what the haters say.

I wouldn't be surprised if World of Warcraft outlasts the Star Wars game.

And no, I'm not subscribed to WoW.

@smg77

Because no pc gamers already own a PS3, or don't have the ability to go purchase one if they so choose? No console gamers will find this game interesting?

I think its a bit presumptive to assume anything in either case.

The Daily Grind: What's the highest sub fee you'd pay?

$15 per month, that way I wouldn't feel back about trying another $15 a month game if something else piqued my interest.
