These weapons have almost exactly the same moveset as the Dragon Sword. Another failure in the mounting list. I'm looking forward to the Joystiq review. 1 or 2 stars max I would say.
I hope this game bombs really hard. They've just ripped the heart out of this game with all the changes. NGB and NG2 are pretty much my favourite games and I'm not touching this with a ten foot pole.
Sad Panda. I was hoping Obsidian would redeem themselves after Dungeon Siege 3. Simple Dungeon Crawler with combat similar to DSIII, proper multiplayer, no-dialogue trees and less lameness would be awesome.
They should continue with the project if they've already put work towards it IMO. A games like that could do really well on XBL if they nail it. There's a bit of a dearth for such games on 360 but I believe the audience is there.
I mostly play XBLA games (vs retail) these days. It's silly to think the the service hasn't improved greatly over the years. If anything, review scores have dropped because reviewers give downloadable games less leniency than what they did in the earlier stages of this gen, when the service was younger.
SoA 2011 was fine, but if anything it's become a bit irrelevant, at-least for people who pay attention to the releases. Ms Splosion Man and Trenched were released just before SoA and they're just as good as anything from the SoA line-up IMO.
Anyway, I'm super psyched for Dust: an Elysian Tail, Trials: Evo, Bloodforge, Deadlight, Realms of Ancient War. Torchlight 2 XBLA is wanted.
And I really want to see SOME NEW FOOTAGE OF DUST: AN ELYSIAN TAIL! I'm so psyched for that game, it's only be years in waiting!
I want to see the return of the 16Bit RPG/Adventure game. Some of my favourite games were Landstalker and Sword of Vermillion. I'd like to see some talented Indie developers come up with something like those kind of games, except with modern gameplay/combat mechanics, platforming etc.
Talking about Bioware and Bethesda RPG's isn't that interesting to tell you the truth, I prefer Elder Scrolls myself and it's not surprising to me that they're more popular than Bioware games.
