I hate when games like these get a cheap port on smartphones. Feels like a slap in the face for me paying full price. Though I am happy that they're expanding their audience, it's an amazing experience.

Not enough shovelware, we all know how much the UK market loves that stuff (i.e. Just Dance, every popular movie game).

Shadows of the Damn - Joystiq gave it four stars and it's number 7. SS & U3 got four and a half stars and it's not even in the top ten. Some cohesion would be nice.

It's just such a basic game, that has so much success compared to a masterpiece like Super Meat Boy, that it is upsetting for me. And there is very little strategy, unless you enjoy trial and error until you pinpoint a perfect shot.

Thankfully when you buy the PC version there's usually a way to get all this pre-order bullshit for free. I'm not giving GameStop money for a gun I'll barely use in the campaign.

It's just natural human curiosity that leads people to this game. I asked myself a similar question: How is this game so popular? It must be fun. Indeed, it is a good example of controls for a game on a smart phone, but I quickly learned that it was disgustingly overrated. There's no strategy after the first five levels, just aimlesly throwing birds until you hit all the pigs. It's not fun, it's addicting, but not even a hybrid of the two like we see in Tetris or Picross, it's just addicting. Also, I worked at an amusement park this summer, and the amount of Angry Birds related shit there was so uncalled for. Call me a hipster, but this game sucks.

I'm gonna be pissed if Skyward Sword gets ignored liked SMG2 was last year.

It's a shame the community is already half-dead, it was a fun few months.
