Am I the only one who rolls his eyes anytime this dev is called "Cliffy B". I realize the man is a top notch developer and his studio pumps out A+ games, but anyone that wants to be addressed with a name like that loses serious respect points imo.
Thanks god we still have mature developers like "Johnny C." and "Gabey N."
You figure that this article doesn't take into account the many digital download sales for the PC which I am part of via Steam. It's great to hear that it is doing so well. I've got over 32 hours into the game with both single and muti-player and I'm having alot of fun. It could still use another bug squashing patch or two, but the good outweighs the bad.
Here's to hoping this becomes a successful franchise.
Too little, too late for me. I had an interest in this game until I learned about the draconian DRM Ubisoft was once again going to use. Glad I didn't buy as it turns out that is not the only issues the PC version has.
Had Ubisoft not used that DRM I would have most likely done an impulse preorder purchase, but that window of opportunity for my dollar is gone.
GG Ubisoft. You screwed the developer out of more money then you probably know, and those that pirated the game hadn't a care.
Fantastic game and EASILY one of the scariest I have ever played. I could only hope for you with PC's that can't run this to someday get a port to the consoles. This game deserves everyone's attention.
