Smartass generalization of quick-to-flame gamers aside... Though I have no personal investment in this scenario at all and am indifferent to the results of this case, I feel that Valve is being asinine by trademarking a community-wide term originally associated with a product that was in no way their own. Sure, they have the Eul and IceFrog of Defense of the Ancients as part of their team, but couldn't they muster just a little more creative juice? "Dota 2" is so laughable. Guinsoo and Riot Games didn't have to cling onto the name to create a hugely popular product, so good on them.

I for one am very glad the Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing game came to fruition, because it's fun. That's about all I can say really.

This is easily one of the goofiest stories I've ever read on Joystiq.
