I completely agree with you. I felt the same way after I finished resistance 3. Why bother if you are going to just crap all over this great universe you created. Th ending seems rushed like they were burnt out.

I can't say I was shocked by the ending. I knew better. The ending of me2 was crap too. If you remember we fight an almost complete human like reaper and we learn that the reapers take the form of the civiizations they conquer, a claim repeated by apparently god-child. Yet at the end of me2 the cut scene that showed all the reapers they were all identical. That's when I realized the mass effect was no longer going to be a quality lord of the rings like trilogy but instead a matrix trilogy. And the end of the third matrix movie reminds me so much of me3s ending. Its like the story got away from the creators. Its sad really, me1 was so good story wise similar to the original matrix. Me2 story was ok but started creating some plot holes like the second matrix movie and well the third, that ending ruined the hole deal.

This should be a lesson to developers. Endings matter, closure matters. The fans have bought into your universe and will notice when you let things fall by the wayside.

@mateo124 only if they get on early. Otherwise there I no way for anyone to know you are using a stolen copy. There are no individual serial numbers on games.

Its just stupid to be commenting on a competitors product to begin with. Make a great product, inform the public about great product, then you make money. If you happen to beat cod sales in the process, then you can dance a jig. it was EA that invited the comparisons to mw3 instead of informing the public about what makes their game so great (assuming it is).

The choice of jay-zs song was terrible. first insulting half of the human race, women, is never a good marketing strategy. Second nothing is more opposite than us gaming nerds and gangsta rap. Probably would have fit better with dukem nukem than a serious military shooter like bf3

Man this review could not be more confusing. So if I read the review basically I get this. Single player blows and even more so on console. So don't even bother with it. Mp is where its at. However remember all of the rubber band lag and sever issues on bfbc2, yup that's all there too. But don't worry dice will fix it so I'll completely ignore those problems. Also console runs at 30 fps. I don't get it. So it sounds sucky, but its a 4.5?! It just sounds like he loves the concept of bf3 so much that he ignores its failing when he renders his score. So the solution for me is to just buy the game because I can't play mp if I just rent it thanks to online pass. Frustrating.

I generally agree though I found their rage review to be much to harsh. I thought it was a solid fps with great graphics. 4 stars felt more appropriate to me
