Iwata brought Nintendo back from last place to first place. And he's taking responsibility. He shouldn't step down. No, they should invent a higher position than CEO so they could promote him to that.

Reggie Fils-Aime of Nintendo of America... there's a man who could step down. Maybe then we'll see more Xenoblade and less Fling Smash.

Just wondering what killer games the Vita will have at or near launch. All I see is yet-another-port of LittleBigPlanet and a handheld Uncharted, which I could take or leave.

American CEOs want to take the company down with the ship, and in the case of certain corporations, the whole damn country if they could.

Nintendo is nothing like an American company. Look what they did to Gunpei Yokoi.

A lot of the RAM is wasted, err, utilized to load the Android OS (or iOS, if you will), but Android moreso because it loads a native Linux OS, then a Virtual Machine backend, then the Java-based Android OS inside that.

The Vita (and the PSP, DS and 3DS) all boot to a proprietary firmware that loads minimal resources before the games are loaded.

Unless Vita is running Android OS (which I doubt), much more of a percentage of that RAM can be utilized for games.

And 640MB should be enough for anyone.

Still too expensive for a system with only one good game on it (Ocarina of Time 3D).

I still have hope for the system but where the hell is Kid Icarus: Uprising, Super Mario 3D, the rumored Super Smash Bros 3D and all those great E3 demos?? All we have now are Ocarina of Time 3D (mercifully), the Virtual Console releases are overpriced and artificially delayed, and the rest is crapware. Mega Man Legends 3 being killed doesn't help.

Is Nintendo hoping that the stall is really gonna make us break down and buy the crapfests that are Steel Diver and Pilotwings Resort?
