Hyperspace Beacon: Breaking the bank

@Shirvington

"The tired "single-player not MMO" just isn't true. You haven't even played it, clearly"

Agreed. There's 2 and 4 man quests on every planet, Flashpoints about every 5 levels after level 10 as well as hard mode versions of several of them for level 50's, a social points system that rewards people for grouping, raids, and pvp.

How much more multiplayer do people want the game to be? Forced grouping? That wouldn't go over well, either.

My first character will be a Jedi Knight, and then going Jedi Sentinel for my Advanced Class. I've always been more of a melee fighter kind of guy, and naturally I love how iconic the Jedi Knight is.

Because they won't be adding any more content after it launches...

'Little risk of failure': Analysts predict SWTOR will turn a healthy profit

@Scuffles

I was thinking almost the same exact thing, that 1.5 million subscribers is actually a fairly conservative estimate and that it will probably be closer to 3 mill.

Having beta tested the game on a couple different occasions now, including this past weekend, as well as a month long stint about 5 months ago, I am cautiously optimistic that the launch will go pretty smooth. Bioware certainly seems to be trying their best to ensure it is.

I'll be very interested to see what the numbers are after 6 months, and what new content comes out in that time, as I do agree with others that regular new content will be key in maintaining subscribers.

Rumor: Next Xbox to be Windows-powered, going 'Apple route'

@RichardMitchell

I very much doubt they are going to release both Windows 8 and Windows 9 next year, as well as a specially modified version of Windows 9 for the Xbox.

But hey, I'd love to be proven wrong.

@BrappZannigan

Unless of course it does launch in 2014, then it might be Windows 9. Oi vey!

"will run on a modified version of Windows 9"

I'm guessing this is supposed to say Windows 8?

BioWare's next IP teased with Uncharted-esque car flipping action shot

To me, it looks like two military-esque vehicles, with one of them possibly having run over a land mine, blowing them both up. I'm wondering if it's a game where we play as or against mercs or something along those lines.

Hyperspace Beacon: More nuna bites

@TheNetAvenger
I may be reading too much into what the OP said, but I don't think so, considering he also referred to what one would presume to be the Bible as " the saddest piece of literature in mankind's history".

I just find it very hypocritical when someone calls for tolerance towards one group of people, while openly bashing another group. It would be like if a Christian came on here and said something like, "I wish gays, although foolish and the saddest form of people in history, would be more open minded towards Christianity". Bear in mind that I basically just used the OP's own words there. It doesn't sound as nice when turned around, does it?

@(Unverified)
I'm guessing you're the OP? As I've already said, if you want religious minded people to show homosexuals and other groups tolerance, it would do a lot of good to show them some, as well. You may think they are wrong for being opposed to homosexuality, but resorting to the same hateful tone that you profess to be against only hurts your cause.
