I'm not sure why anyone would get this over a Qanba Q4 RAF though, which is $10 cheaper. It also has Sanwa parts and is pre-modded for PS3/360/PC. I'm not trying to be smug, I'm just not sure about the cost of this Mad Catz stick given that baseline price/quality.
Wow, thanks for posting this article. I love the board game, and didn't even know there was a phone version. Asynchronous gameplay make this a must buy for me.
People will rarely accept evolution in game music in franchises they are nostalgic about. Vocals in my final fantasy? Boo, kill it! Vocals in my Nier? Oh wow this is really lovely. Even though they may both suit the setting, it's hard letting go to the attachment you have with a franchise's staple sound.
For whatever the reason, I hope it's a lesson learned. What? I'll give the benefit of the doubt to others every time... and yes I'm disappointed on a regular basis.
Unfortunately they're also jumping to the top of the list of companies in earnings. So it's really consumers that don't get it. They won't stop if they think it's working, so people need to stop buying. Unfortunately that mean not playing the newest franchise game immediately, so most of us just buy it anyway, then complain on the Internet. I'm no exception... it's a sad cycle.
