As a longtime reader of Joystiq, it is pretty exciting to see my company listed here on one of my favorite blogs. I work for Pando Support, and wanted to chime in with some of the complaints that PMB is malware. We obviously disagree with that assessment, and I wanted to post some links to our FAQ which explains a little more on how you can control how PMB works on your machine.
PMB is only installed in order to assist with media downloaders, and we ask that any product that uses it will clearly show that it is being installed as part of it's terms agreement. You can safely disable, configure it's settings, or uninstall it and it will never be used for anything other than media downloads.
