This could be the best game in the world, but there is no way I'm spending $60 for a PC title for a dev I've never heard of. I didn't even want to spend the $60 for Skyrim, so I waited for the Steam sale during Xmas. If games keep pricing themselves 10 bucks higher and people continue to buy it, prices are just going to keep rising.
Money scam aside, I think this tech is pretty awesome. I thought I read the Wii-U would utilize the same technology, but I could be wrong. I just keep seeing this and thinking about the old Yugioh cartoon and how sweet it'd be if it existed
@ThePolo The Wii-U was officially unveiled in 2011, that's true. If you think that they somehow were able to design and come out with a prototype and have tech demos to show at E3 all in the span of 1 year, you're crazy.
As much as I abhor both Crapcom and iOS games, I hope this does phenomenally. Ghost Trick was easily the most underrated title of last year, and I've love for a sequel that will never happen. Maybe we'll get lucky and have Sissel do a cameo in one of the 50 Street Fighter or MvC rehashes we'll get in the next few years.
I'm pretty excited that they are implementing the mods on the Steam workshop. I don't think the Workshop is really being used to its full potential with just TF2 items. Also, I'm happy I don't have to mess with OMM or FOMM anymore. Hopefully this will add hundreds of hours to Skyrim for me, with all the mods.
I had to Google to see who this Jonathan Blow character was since he wasn't anyone I've heard of and I know my fair share of game devs. I can't say I'm surprised people say he's pretentious, since Braid and pretentiousness go hand-in-hand.
