It probably just means that the new Windows Market will be merged with Games for Windows, so when you buy your copy of Word you will see games as well.

Games that glorify murder, robbery, killing cops are totally okay, but slavery isn't? I think both are fine in fiction depending on the context. If this slavery game is serious about promoting slavery or racism than sure I would think it's stupid. Unless you think GTA is promoting murder and theft simply by letting you do it I don't see how you can think a Civilization game about the slave trade isn't at the very least similar. I know you feel like they aren't, but that's just the same society you blame for the game existing the first place warping your sense of morality in entertainment.

@Koming Whatever your opinion on the Deus Ex thing you can't actually think the racism in GTAIV or Mass Effect even compares? GTAIV is essentially real people. Real people are racist. It's as if a camera was following around a crime lord and you got to see the people he interacted with. The same goes for Mass Effect. The whole point of the racism in Mass Effect is to confront you with it. To ask questions. The problem people have with Deus Ex is if the game is purposely addressing racism or if the game itself contains racist or insensitive content.

I don't know where I stand on the issue, but don't straw man the argument.

Scott Free Productions no doubt. Who knows if Ridley or Tony will actually direct anything. I'm gonna say no. It's possible as Ridley is a pretty good commercial director, but I kind of doubt it.
