I fully support this. If it weren't for modding I wouldn't have used my Wii as excessively as I did.

And no, this was way before actually "illegal" things were done with modded Wiis.

Joystiq, all the PC /Mac versions are Steamworks enabled so regardless of where you buy it on PC(be it retail, direct2drive) will have cross-platform play because they have to register of Steam to play.

Steam and GOG are pretty much the only DD services that can co-exist together. And that's only because GOG offers games that are not on Steam and their no-DRM business model.
