@Softserve They were SUPPOSED to release a gameplay trailer at gamescom today...Hopefully they come through with that.

@PN04 I totally agree. However, I really thought that more of Nero's story would have been revealed in the new DMC. I think if they gave him a little more substance he would have been pretty solid.

@captplut9465 That's exactly what I plan on doing. Only difference is I'm a fanGIRL. And it may be sexist, but I feel like being female gives me every right to complain about the destruction of my sexy white haired Dante, and the birth of this...this...Edward Cullen look alike! However, I will admit that the game play looks solid.

@Klearwater Killer Hopefully not too long. I hate how black consoles blend in with my entertainment stand. =/ But I love my entertainment stand and I don't want to get a different one. CONUNDRUM'D

@PANdaRUS I agree with you, mostly. I realize DLC is an unfailing market for developers. But these sewer levels basically ARE DLC. If you want them you can have them, but they aren't necessary to the game as a whole. Do they enrich it? Maybe. But I highly doubt the game will be lacking anything of you don't get them. I do, however, agree that slapping a lock on online play to anyone who didn't buy the game new, is ridiculous. Screw those people. But when it comes to adding a few fluff levels to sweeten the deal? Sure, go for it.

Game developers don't make a profit from used game sales. It makes sense for them to add some sort of incentive to intrigue people into buying the game new. Whether the consumer likes it or not, it's a smart business move. And at least ID is being cool about it and just adding a few levels, rather than locking used buyers out of online play altogether. I say props to them. They gave me a reason to buy the game new, without being jerks about it.
