@MJD8000 Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance is hitting Japan at the end of this month, that's likely to shift a load of 3DSes again.

Also, the Vita was released in December, 9 months after the tsunami, and although the effects are of course still being felt, they are mostly only felt in the North East of Japan, which isn't as densely populated as the rest of Japan in the first place.

I don't think the tsunami has had a significant impact on Vita sales.
Especially not because the 3DS has been doing just fine, despite having been released around the time the earthquake hit.

Wow, I had no idea the PSP did so poorly in its first week in Japan...
Could availability have something to do with that?

Sorry, but it just sounds like this game is a fantastic movie/anime but a horrible and lazily designed game. I appreciate all the over-the-topness, but if player input is this minimal, I really don't care about it as a game.

I'll wait until this drops to around $10.

Can we get these games on consoles already?

@FreeRPGer It wasn't totally absent last year. There was Radiant Historia which is fantastic, and there was Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky which is also pretty good.

@Foetoid That's nonsense. If a trailer for a game shows ANY character getting impaled, that constitutes a spoiler. The character's degree of fame has nothing to do with it.

@Science core Absolutely agree. I played about 10 hours before I got bored and sold it. There's nothing ostensibly wrong with the game, it just wasn't interesting at all.

I guess calling it soulless makes sense.
