If I don't see the innovations that MGS brought...OR something as immersive as MGS 3................i'll pass. MGS4 was a travesty. I like my movies with less polygons. Just Sayin.

Who the f*ck EVER said Elite was a bad idea? Don't major in 'business' any time soon. Everybody knew that was a smart move for Activision. From a "is it worth it" perspective however, meh.....depends on how important you find clans, studying maps, community, and all that.

Me? Here is how i study call of duty maps: *sits down* *turns on game* *plays 2 hours* *turns off game* ~Repeat.

I am usually one of those 'go against the wave' kind of guys....but not here. MW3 is fantastic. I have NO F*CKING CLUE what the hate comes from. And based on the sales i don't know if a LOT of other people understand where the hate is coming from.

Reality check: Sequels stay close to their orgins while improving upon what we all loved in the first place.

Call of Duty is doing what every other game does in new iterations of a franchise.

I think it's become "hipster" to hate the franchise. It's popular. Who gives a s*it.

...for the record....."The Last Remnant" was fantastic to me.....regardless of all the technical shortcomings. I digged it, story, cutscenes, art design, etc.........that's why i don't really bet the farm on review scores.

HILAAAAAARIOUS "toe jam & earl 3" low blow at the end there.......GREAT article. These were all classics.....some other sleepers in my opinion: Nightcaster, Amped, and believe it or not Kung Fu Chaos was DOPE!

I found the demo to be AMAZINGLY FUN........well...the 2nd half at least with the avalanche. This wasn't a buy for me (due to Forza 4)....but.....i might get curious during that early year drought we usually get (except for the fact in 2012 mass effect 3, soul calibur 5, ninja gaiden 3, tomb radier, max payne 3, and others are expected 1st and 2nd Quarter of 2012).

@Oddgirl the fact that deus ex came out in your GOTY discussion leaves me with little faith in your opinion....
