Aug 18th 2011 4:23PM (Joystiq)Those are gameplay styles. I can do teamwork with my clan on mw, like I can have a crappy team in battfield 3 and do badly.
They compete with each other because of what they are, and do.
Both have a campaign, with co-op and focus on the multiplayer.
They are shooters, military, with a modern conflict.
It's not the same as Mass effect, which is an rpg. It's focus is on telling a story, minor build your stats, and make dialogue choices.
Gears is straight up shooting, with co-op and multiplayer.
