I know this is pedantic but it's not really DEFYING physics as everything is still obeying the laws of physics but the objects are being manipulated with fictional technology... Really the laws of physics still need to exist for a lot of these puzzles to work...
To be fair they're not particularly hypocritical, they've never said that their reunion gigs were about anything other than money - their first reunion in the late nineties was called "Filthy Lucre" for that exact reason.
Also as for not wanting to be inducted to the Hall of Fame their reasoning was thus; "Once you want to be put into a museum, Rock & Roll's over; it's not voted by fans, it's voted by people who induct you, or others; people who are already in it."
Anyone who thinks that the Wii is bad for the gaming industry knows extremely little about economics.
Anyone who casually throws off phrases like "Hardcore Gamer" and "Casual Gamer" is most probably somebody who's just miffed that it's no longer all about them. Get over it.
I don't understand why anyone would bother buying on the high street when games on the internet are so much cheaper, I regularly see used games in Gamestation going for more than new copies on play.com
Also don't give me the "Supporting local shops" malarky. Screw 'em, should have got on the .com gravy train.
I'm British and really not at all bothered by this. The BBFC have been rating games for a number of years now and I've already agreed with their ratings and admired their ability to avoid sensationalism.
There are a great number of Americans on here moaning about "Free Speech". I'm afraid that before a US citizen starts criticising the free speech of another country they should actually look at their own chequered history. I think any objective observer will find that in the UK far more things are tolerated and accepted, far more allowed to be said, than in the US.
Any American's grandstanding about "Free Speech", "Rights" and "Justice" amounts to little more than a joke when juxtaposed with the US' actual record on rights, free speech and law.
This is brilliant news. Previously all you could spend your stars on was useless rubbish with the occasional good item that sold out instantly. At least now not only can you spend your stars on Wii points but there's also some quality merch available.
