If you think this is racism, then you have never been a victim of racism. If you think the character's speech is based on a stereotype and that people dont talk like that then, you havent been to, lived, or worked in duluth georgia, alabama, or mississippi. You may not want to acknowledge that people like her are real but, that doesnt make it any less a fact.
No wonder companies like AT&T are so sure the merger with Tmobile will go through. So many of you seem so ready to accept the shiny bobble and are willing to let Gamestop continue on with business as usual. What they are doing is the very definition of anti-competitive. They are leveraging their market dominance in the retail space in an attempt to squash a competitor in the digital streaming space before they even enter it. Thus ensuring dominance in the digital streaming space as well. I know some genius is going to say that you can buy games elsewhere and that is true. Yet, while GameStop may not be the only place to get games, they are often the only place to get certain things like exclusive deals that they obtain by being the dominate games retailer. So, as I said at the beginning of my post, this is the very definition of anti-competitive. Further proof of their dominance can be seen in just how many commenters are willing to take the funny money and run instead of actually fighting for the consumer protections to which they are entitled.
this is the very definition of anti competitive. This is the equivalent of a cable company refusing to allow netflix streaming through the internet service they provide because they offer a competing VOD service. Good luck with this one gamestop. Have fun when the DOJ starts regulating every move you make.
