What is really interesting to me about this is that, years ago, GameStop used to let you buy a new game, and return it(even opened) within 7 days, much like they do with their used games now. They chose to abandon this practice, under the premise that 'they could not represent a game as new once it had been opened and the contents removed. etc'

Apparently they've forgotten all about that now.

I expect a lawsuit to happen here, and I fully anticipate that GameStop will lose, hopefully to the tune of millions of dollars. The stranglehold that they have on the used gaming market is criminal anyway. I can buy a car and trade it in 2 days later and get back a better % of my money than Gamestop will give me if I buy a new game and try to trade it in even 3 hours later.
