The dynamic events do scale, but not by a lot they want it to be challenging if there is only a few people there and only a little bit easier if there are a lot. The open world looks great from what I have seen looking forward to seeing how the players are supposed to work together to expand the explorable areas. I'm hoping this game turns out amazing and that it gains a strong competitive community because I have been looking for a game like this for a long time.
I didn't go to PAX, but a good amount of sites were talking about how huge the advertising campaign was for Firefall and another good amount commented about how comfortable the carpet was in their booth. I haven't heard a single bad thing about the game though despite the advertising campaign so that has to say something.
Its not like Orson is going to shove his political agenda down your throat in Firefall, don't ruin an awesome game for yourself just because you disagree with the person who penned the story. This gameplay just seems amazing though I'm looking forward to having a try at it soon.
My favorite reveal by far was the Firefall PvE dynamic missions. Red5 has been showing off exclusively PvP for a while so it was great to see how great the PvE was. The fact you could shoot down a drop ship and a massive shooter like this was just awesome.
I'm seriously pumped for firefall its a free to play game that seem to destroy the general consensus on what a free to play game should be (crap). The combat and controls seem super tight and the developers are just unbelievably friendly and awesome. I hope you give red5studios the press they deserve (lots and lots of good press).
