It's not a matter of debating how horribly offensive it is compared to other gaming things. (It's offensive though, don't worry.)

It isn't about psuedo-intellectual twats screaming OUTRAGE!

It's just lame. Feeding the folks who did this really doesn't help anything.

I also really hope to god nobody is seriously trying to defend this either, by citing examples of other screwed up things videogames have done. Two wrongs still don't make a right, and just because one game glorified a terrible, awful war doesn't mean it's cool to make one that glorifies a terrible, awful practice. (Mind you, I'm talking about the principle of it, since they didn't actually make the game.)

Point out the flaw in saying "This is so offensive it shouldn't exist but other things are okay." but don't defend its existence any more than you would some OTHER offensive piece of crap.
