Not really since it was a full retail game in Japan (5,229 yen ($64)).
Looks like it'll be fun.

Personally, I enjoyed Final Fantasy XIII and have pre-ordered XIII-2. I do, however, understand why so many people do not like it but like with any game, focus on what is great and enjoy that aspect.

I put about 95-100 hours into the game (Platinum), Gran Pulse was incredibly fun and there were a lot of fights that were fun and challenging. The character design, music, and combat were my favorite parts of the game. Combat had a great flow, being able to change jobs on the fly to handle whatever situation may happen in combat was fun.

I won't lie though, I've yet to meet anyone or have any of my friends agree with me on FFXIII, pretty sure I was the only one to enjoy it.

Bad guys need to start getting better aim, it's like they hire these goons who can't shoot themselves out of a paper bag. I wish I actually liked Star Wars so I could get into this game. Played MMO's since 2001 and I love Bioware, I'm just probably the only nerd in the world who didn't get into Star Wars.

With the "surprise ending" after the credits and how well this game is doing, I hope the sequel ends up being a remake of the original Deus Ex.
