A couple people used the History card, claiming that videogames have always been about high scores.
I'd like to note that, achievements take the artistic merit out of a video game. It is something supposed to be casually viewed, its an artistic form of entertainment that could even create serious social commentary if handled properly. But if a gamer is too wrapped into his own competition, it doesn't become about playing the game as a game.
The game loses its steam as its just about getting the higher score, or the most achievements.
However, this is also technically seen with unlockable characters and stages, the only difference here, the unlockable content is generally usable.
Uhm, the game is made on RPG Maker so how could it really be qualified for an award anyway?
That's like a free "cut and paste" google webpage winning an award because its got some sensational idea!
I played the game and really...it's not put together very well, it's RPG Maker 2000 if I ever saw it, and it's quite difficult to play as far as just even playing it. And all the images used are entirly grainy because thats what RPG Maker 2000 does.
Plus aren't there copyright issues with that program?
"'Why is so much of the USA so homophobic?' (Limey)
Leviticus 18:22
'Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.'
The Bible makes it clear that homosexuality is a sin. It's on the same level as eating shrimp."
Yeah, this is completely taken out of context. In the Bible its common practice to take the first time a word is mentioned such as "lie" within the book, and that would be its definition throughout.
The first time "lie" is used in that book is when a boy sleeps with a Prostitute in his Father's bed.
It's not saying saying Man can't sleep with man, it says man cant sleep with another man in his wife's bed.
This is true, in my dorms I went all the way down past the end of my hall and it was still working. It also works from the upper level of my house while the Wii is at the lowest level.
