PSA: Grand Theft Auto 3 now available on iOS/Android

Dec 16th 2011 11:34AM (Joystiq)
Just another example of people being over eager and under informed, so they're willing to pay to beta test a product for a developer already fat with cash.

However, kudos to Rockstar for being perhaps the first AAA developer to attempt to push this kind of depth to a mobile platform. Gives me hope for the future.

Former Celtics coach suing EA, NCAA over misuse of likeness

Typical of the NCAA. They use the talents of student athletes to line their pockets, yet the athletes are never compensated. One of the greatest cons in American history.

BioWare releases more SWTOR companion info

Sep 23rd 2011 10:05PM (Massively)
After reading the comment threads on these last few TOR posts, it's pretty easy to determine there's nothing Bioware can do to ruin this game. The "community" is going to do it for them. All the entitiled WoW fanbois are going to look like sweethearts compared to the nerd ragers this game will have in it.

MMObility: Online board games make for good mobile design

Sep 14th 2011 3:06PM (Massively)
I just recently delved back into my old MTGO collections when I heard they'd made pauper a tournament format. (Which turned out to be a waste of time... the format is broken as all hell, and the cards needed in some cases are fetching rare prices... but I digress.)

It definitely occurred to me while playing that a CCG/Strategy/Turn Based game on a mobile platform would be a huge hit if done correctly. Of course, these games are historically and notoriously "pay to win"...

Not sure if there was a point in there at all. Nice article!
