Uhhh....you admitted intention of finding the game and downloading it for free. Knowing a little bit of the game market helps wonders here: that, my sweet little blog reader, *is* labeled "piracy", because the owner of the game's intelectual property gets no income from his work.

Not only that, but when exactly a downloadable re-release makes a game less important, only because it didn't get a retail version? Strategically speaking, Squeenix would hae to re-produce media, re-distribute it on shelves, generate new distribution costs....why do that if they can take the old ISO file and distribute it digitally, making it less costly and perhaps the final result would be a cheaper product.
