The 482,200 3DS sales figure in the article is Japan-only sales as well. I think the 3DS has been selling above 1m worldwide for the past few weeks because of the holiday shopping season.

Also, its because the 3DS's resolution is 400x240, while the pics on Joystiq are stretched to be a little bigger, so it makes the jagged edges more obvious. It isn't as noticeable while playing games on the console though.

@TwEE Yeah.. I guess we can all just ignore the billions of dollars they have in cash reserves from all the profits they made off the DS and Wii.

So.. why are people blaming Nintendo for this? It isn't even made by them, as it plainly states in the article. Also, what's the point of bitching about a completely optional accessory? I guess people just like to complain for the sake of complaining, especially about Nintendo these days.

@Enigma7ic They never remade it, they just ported the DC version to the PS2 & GameCube. If there were any differences, they were really small.

Sounds like they're close to bankruptcy and need some publicity to sell their useless pointer remote. They can't possibly expect to get any money out of this lawsuit.
