@Faceless Troll It's funny that people keep bringing up the already overused "taking off features that should've been there" argument every time there's an article with Sony announcing possible PS2 downloadable games, lots of people are interested in this, I know I am because I never owned a PS2 and the only times I got to play on one was when I went to a friend's house and whatnot.
And these titles will probably work on the Vita too so what's to hate really? The backwards compatibility went away 3 years ago I believe so what's the point of still crying over it? They won't bring it back, instead enjoy the games they release at a cheaper price thanks to bigger HDD costing even less now.

@ProtagonistZero People like me, who didn't take full advantage of the PS2 era are pleased with this, don't talk as if it was only you who matters.
I'm glad there are HD Collections being released for game I didn't get to play at the time
