Hmm, sucks for those who can't/don't have a connected gaming platform, but my PC is on the net 24/7, so no biggie for me.
Definitely looking forward to this. I just hope the multi-player aspects can be toned down. I don't want to be FORCED to interact with other player,s but I would like to have the option to.
Well next gen consoles aren't going to be high end PCs but they don't need to be.
They can get a lot done with lower end hardware, and a decent bump into say mid range modern Pc will provide everything console manufacturers, console gamers and even PC gamers want.
PC hardware is already "next gen", we just need devs to bring out software that takes advantage of the hardware, and next gen consoles will finally bring that kind of modern experience to the already capable PC platform.
@(Unverified) That just might happen. Next gen consoles aren't going to be hig end pcs. I tnk Sony and MS have learned that lesson this gen. They will be decent mid range PCs however, and steam might fill in that semi closed gaming environment on the PC. I think I'll be doing most of my gaming on PC next gen, but I'm definitely looking forward to what the consoles bring to Both platforms.
