considering blizzard releases about one game every four years on average, if it isn't released until 2011 it's easily worthy of the hype a blizzard game deserves
@1, you are completely correct. This game was freakin awesome at launch, then they ran it into the ground. Was for a while, but could've been the best MMORPG ever.
i dont know what people like #16 are thinking, but i played WoW for a long long time and i'm loving LOTRO so far. I'm exicited for a grown up version of WoW with a REAL storyline (like tolkein) and the graphics are GORGEOUS. (i dont know what kind of crappy PCs the people have who said teh graphics looked bad) I have never seen water rendered more beautifully in this game except maybe in Twilight Princess. Even HD games on the ps3 and 360, it still depends on the engine, and if the engine doesn't define water well, it doesn't matter what graphics card it's using.
#4 basically said everything that is opposite about the game and is obviously a WoW-fanboy. I was slightly disappointed when i heard I wouldn't have real people to fight as the "bad guys," but I am very excited for the possibilities this brings for storyline advancement. WoW has to stay the same because neither side can ever win because blizzard has paying customers on both sides. In LOTRO, the storyline can and will advance just as it does in Tolkein's books.
I think they're completely different styles, and anyone that says Twilight Princess isn't beautiful needs to get a component cable and a bigger TV cause my balls hit the floor when i first rode into Hyrule Field.
anybody else notice that every time the disk is ejected the hand is placed on the back of the system? anyone else think the person may have rigged a new ejection switch? i dunno, just it's odd that he touches the system every time it ejects
