$40 isn't a bad deal, relative to today's standards. The problem I have with Elite is that a) it took them ages to finally release new content and b) they mislead us into believing it would be 2-4 maps every month.

I'd like to see a console update that puts the gigantic vehicle maps on separate servers. They don't work well with only 24 players IMO.

Let's take this to an extreme. What if Microsoft put "We have the right to steal your children." into their ToS? Of course that wouldn't give them the right to steal your children. But they can basically say "We can't be held accountable, regardless of whether or not we hold up our end of the contract" and it's legal? FFS, how many people even read the ToS?

@Justice551 Disagree. I've played against teams that have abused the shit out of the mortar. It's annoying, to say the least.

If you don't have an excellent connection the game is very laggy. It doesn't find games lower than 75ms on my connection. MW2 never had this problem, I could get into a 50ms game on the first try.

So you can understand how it's frustrating for some people that all their focus seems to be on their new Elite service, which might be the cause of the connection problems.

I don't care how negligible the payoff is, it's satisfying to see EA held accountable.

Rumor has it the video recording is what's causing much of the latency issues. Apparently if the host has video recording turned off it makes a big difference.

Personally, if it's a choice between recording the game and actually playing the game (at it's full potential), I'd take the latter. Still enjoying the game despite this.

That's news to me. I saw the same thing with Medal of Honor last year. They promised some preorder bonus and then it was included in the copy I picked up at Target. Not that it affects me, but it's pretty dirty.

You've gotta love advertising these days. "Preorder now to get back to Karkand!" And then it comes with every copy of the game.

@ReadingRambo I've been waiting for MW3 for two years. Treyarch's games are a lot different than IW's games. They may appear to be the same on the surface, but they play much differently.

Some people like sequels. There's only so much you can do with the FPS genre.
