Mass Effect 3 'Extended Cut' DLC free this summer, offers 'further clarity to the ending'

Apr 5th 2012 11:37AM (Joystiq)
They can't fix the ruin that Highlander 2 visits on the first movie. There isn't a way I can see how some DLC is going to turn around that abysmal explanation of Reaper motivation.

Pitchford hyped for DNF after it became their property. Any press out of him I take with a grain of salt. I want this game to be good, but I am going to wait on peer review this time.

This all looks like foreshadowing for the next Sims 3 expansion.

So far, so good: Why the Vita rises where the PSP fell

While I love my Vita, I think it'll take at least a year before we can know whether or not the console is pass/fail.

Someone get Franz Ferdinand onboard though, we need another jaunty commercial showing trendy hipsters toting Vitas around a vague metropolitan venue!

GameStop plans 3,600 midnight openings for Mass Effect 3

@Apakal It is, isn't it? I enjoy it, when I can participate. Gives me a chance to bullshit for a couple hours with a few absolute strangers that I know dead certain we've got something in common to talk about.

Way to entrench the 'for babies, not grownups' stereotype, Nintendo.

BioWare lead writer Drew Karpyshyn leaves BioWare

@AXiDER 'Superbly written' is arguable. Nearly every loose end in the game was tied up with the same conclusion- somebody you were assisting goes all corrupt, turns into a roiling mass of possessed demon meat, and you have to put them down. Killing off endearing party members irrecoverably may work fine for actual books, but it's a horrible decision to implement in a game. And while I'll agree this is subjective, Anders was godawful from the beginning, and blossomed into vomitous tripe from the point you learned he was a creepy cat-lady onward.
