Nintendo might have won in console sales but the consumers definitely lost. I bought all three and I feel ripped off with the Wii. I'm sure allot of people enjoyed it though. I'd be interested to know how many games were sold on each console, I'd bet the numbers tell a different story but I could be wrong.

@ Baron Samedi - I had the same experience with Demon Souls. I was a little ticked that I wasted those souls but I got over it. I made the same mistake in Dark Souls with the Fire Keeper Souls . . . I wasted two of them before I realized I could use them to upgrade my flasks. Oh well, that's part of the fun. I'm trying my best not to go online for hints but I did pick up a few good ideas watching some YouTube videos!

@Jenks – You make a good point. Embracing the difficultly and letting your inner 80’s gamer shine through is what makes this game great. Even today’s more open world RPG’s (e.g. Oblivion) seem linear compared to Dark/Demon Souls. That’s why I like most about this game. I get great enjoying out of finding the next weapon, armor, etc… in this game. Every accomplishment is gushing with satisfaction and makes me hunger for more. I’m at about 30 hours right now and don’t see myself stopping anytime soon. However, I could certainly see how this game isn’t for everyone.
