The Queue: That one drop

Apr 2nd 2012 12:02PM (WoW)
Hi, I've been playing WoW on and off since Vanilla, originally finding a Collector's Edition (CE) and getting a panda cub. Since then, I've only got my main to 85 and have made a number of alts. I've noticed that around Cataclysm, my alts were being awarded all three CE pets, the panda cub, the mini diablo, and the zergling. I love this, as now I don't have to make the choice.

The only thing is, my main still only has the one, and as an avid pet collector, this drives me nuts. Will Blizzard implement some way for me to get the other two pets? I know this is trivial, but believe it can be done as GMs can pretty much make anything appear into your mailbox. Any help would be great, thank you.

PS, not exactly sure where to put this, so I'm scattering it around.

Qs for the Q.

Just in case Blizz decides to turn my Justice points and Valor Points into Gold, what is the ideal heirloom gear to buy now so I have it prepared for a monk?

Also, does anyone know what kind of limitations there will be for potions and the like in the challenge modes? I'm curious about this if it's something that Blizz is balancing around so they must be used, if it's something that will simply give players an edge, or if they will not be allowed save for instant Health/Mana potions.

Question for the Queue. Regarding Challenge Modes, does anyone know if lvl 90 potions and food (buff) items will be allowed? I play a Holy Pally, and think that Mana potions might make the Challenge Modes easier, which seem counter to what you would be going for.

The Light and How to Swing It: A week of tantalizing Mists information

The Fire from the Heavens and the Bubble Hearth glyph are very cool to have. I'm curious about how Holy Pallies are going to do in Mists. I only have one 85, my Pally, who I primarily heal with (when I actively play). The biggest drawback is that I don't know how I'm going to level my Pally and level a Panda monk (which is something I really want to do).

Does Garrosh Hellscream deserve to die?

Mar 23rd 2012 2:53PM (WoW)
I for one do not want to see the Warchief dead. I like Garrosh as Warchief, although it took me by surprise, I like that he is actually a character, has some depth, and wants to take the Horde places. I suspect that we will see him demonized (not literally) in Mists, with his hunger for war pissing off the Pandaren natives, and possibly bringing about some super powerful boss for the first tier of raiding. With us knowing that we will end up fighting him, I would prefer for him to not die, learn a lesson or two, and be sent back to Nagrand (ala Thrall) to cultivate the Orcs in Outland.

Mists of Pandaria: Cool class stuff we found

Disappointed that Monks have an auto attack now, and there's no dual system. That was what MADE the monk interesting to me. Hopefully I'll still level it like I intended.

Breakfast Topic: 'Every female WoW player has healed at least once'

My wife never played anything but her Undead Warlock. Of course, she was never a dedicated player, and it seemed that she only logged on to kill bears, the Furbolg reputation the only one she ever got exalted with.

Former GM sues over baby murloc voice and song

I am curious if she is filing suit because she has been laid off, which makes sense. She probably loved her job, and has now found herself unemployed, with experience in a very, very, limited field. I'd do what I could to get back at them too.

Thanks guys, I hadn't tried that.

The Queue: When is the MoP beta starting?

I recently noticed that WoW Insider and Joystiq have changed their mobile layouts. Where I work, I don't have access to a computer with internet, and do a lot of waiting around, so I like to check these sites on my phone in between reading (A Dance with Dragons) and cups of coffee. I find the new mobile layout really frustrating, as it loads way too much and requires a lot of scrolling to see the new articles. I really enjoyed the blogger layout of the "old" style. Do you have any relevant information on why this has occurred? Thank you.
