I rarely, if ever, roll alts but I have found that I always roll a healer first. Then, after a fair amount of game time, I find that I really miss killing things easily. So I usually go back and make a DPS alt and then I have my two play styles covered.
So for me, it's all about playing to my mood - do I feel like lending a hand or do I feel like striking down with great wrath.
@PR0F3TA Not that I disagree, but I'm curious to learn what makes Deus Ex an RPG in your mind and not Mass Effect. Again, not disagreeing, just interested in understanding where you draw that line.
This was also my first MMO since there wasn't a PC in my home at the time powerful enough to run a game like that. I remember the wonderment of seeing locations for the first time - discovering places since there was no in-game map, only a map that came with the instruction booklet.
I ran an in-game service escorting people to cities when they didn't know how to get there. This game was fantastic and I'm also very glad Massively paid its respect to one of the oldies.
