Because regardless of how old it is, some people still like it. And I certainly don't feel like I'm just playing an old PS2 game when I play Rock Band. (Mostly because... I'm not.)

Monthly fee... I don't know if it makes me a cheapskate or not, but I'm basically certain that if there's a monthly fee, I'm not in. :(

Yeah, I was massively disappointed with the fifth book. It's so hard to believe that such a phenomenal series could come crashing down so very hard...

I love Netflix, but the second Prime offers the same amount of content, I'm with Amazon all the way.

If I have so little idea of what's going on, why do I want to play it so badly?

So just about every single comment expressing disinterest is getting downvoted to hell. Can someone actually tell me what the draw is of these games? I've never played one, but all I've ever seen on them was just an onslaught of the most unfunny juvenile humor imaginable.
