I've been playing FFXIV for about 6+ months now. And pretty much everything that I've read in this article has been presented to me in-game via quests(text) or cut scenes.

And I don't consider myself a lore-geek or something like that. I didn't feel that convoluted too me :\

I've had similar experiences in the past, but the most recent one would be in FFXIV.

Some of the main storyline quest require a trip to high-level areas. And by high-level I mean areas with mobs 10-20 levels above the current cap. So, it's kinda hard sometimes. A few months ago I asked for a teleport to the camp near the place I needed to go, a girl (catgirl please!) helped me. No only did she teleport me to a near place, she helped me go trough the high level mobs and also helped me complete my quest.

Cats are nice.

@Marked Age, or a big mistake from Blizzard. But given the track record Blizzard have, I'll go with age.

Final Fantasy XIV as the current addiction. And Zelda: Spirit Tracks on the DS.

I have to say, Spirit Tracks has been fun so far. Of course, I have like a week to finish it - I'll say goodbye to the world once I get Skyward Sword.

Have to give credit to the guy. His videos make me want to play the game more than any of the coverage the game has been getting across the web.

I'm a sucker for FF.
I'm a sucker for any CE.
I don't have a PS3 or 360.

I think...I'm gonna buy the game. I plan on picking up a PS3 in the near future, so it's ok. Right?

One of the greatest games this year and it has a hard time getting to 1M.

But! I know that CPD won't get their hopes down and will deliver a good port of the game for the 360. That should give the game a little more exposure it deserves.
