Uh oh. What broke now?

I'm very much looking forward to this patch. After playing the game for a month or two and praying for a patch (I started around December/January) to fix the silly bugs like not being able to hop over a rail or getting sniped by a shotgun, I am hoping "everything" will be fixed with this one patch. The glitches in this game were numerous and didn't seem to bother most players, but the lack of quality control and taking this long to fix those glitches isn't giving much faith in EA's and DICE's abilities as far as supporting their games go.

And I'm okay with there at least being an option for dedicated servers. You can't even get that despite being an Elite subscriber for MW3. And don't get me started on how unfair and random those CoD "competitions" for Elite subscribers are when you're playing the same normal playlists against the same normal non-subscribers on the same normal P2P servers. Seems fair?

Sweet. I was hoping there would be cross-platform multiplayer compatibility.

Fried eggplant that the Muslims have during Ramadan. Was hanging out with my Pakistani buddy one time during Ramadan and had some tasty fried eggplant dish with some sort of spicy sauce on top. The best part was it doesn't taste anything like eggplant!

Sure felt like the first 8 were the cakewalks for veterans while the special 8 were a bit more challenging. Granted, I didn't find most of the special 8 worlds that difficult. I have yet to beat the very final special level. That is a platforming nightmare of a challenge.

The new maps have been pretty nice honestly. I honestly wouldn't mind some classic maps remade because outside of the DLC maps and Village, these maps are tiny. On top of that, they haven't integrated any of these maps into their playlists outsides of the Elite ones, so it's hard to find a nice match. That said, IW has slowed down the support of CoD greatly recently.

BF3 needs to hurry up with the patch. I don't mind the lack of DLC too much. I'm only disappointed that this super patch is taking forever and will hopefully finally fix all of the bugs and glitches that have prevented me from enjoying the game better.

If they would at let host their competitions on dedicated servers, used custom playlists, and maybe used hardcore modes once in a while for those competitions, I could at least justify the price better (I guess you can see the sub paying for DLC).

All in all, Activision messed up Elite pretty badly.

I am kind of surprised Joystiq never had a story on what he said about Japanese developers. Had I not read about it in the comments in one of the previous stories on Fez, I probably wouldn't have known about it. Lack of journalism, Joystiq?

Not to mention it's funny reading the past comments that went from excitement for the game to absolute disdain for the developer. He needs to work on his PR skills...
