@(Unverified) Honestly, I like the GBA games more then 64 which is weird because I grew up playing the hell out of 64. I even went out of my way recently to find it again, spending $50 to pick up a good condition copy on ebay. I've been playing it but the magic just isn't there anymore, it feels like the days go by far too quickly and I can't get the work done each day that I want to.
Maybe I just got to used to the flow of the GBA games, but for me they are the pinnacle of the series. They have a great flow to them and the same charm as 64. I own every single game in the series and while I probably played 64 the most out of all of them, I still enjoy FoMT the most.
How do console players deal with that kind of crap. A 6670 level GPU is not only bad, it hasn't been a current generation card for quite some time now. If you're going to design a next gen console, at least give your consumers something for it instead of a tiny proprietary computer with an old GPU. The gap between consoles and PC's is only going to keep growing and this really isn't the way to try and keep up.
Lol, i pity anyone who would fall for this. Not only do you have to deal with Origin, you also have to deal with EA's absolute shit customer service instead of just doing it all through steam.
I played through multiple beta's including the stress tests and the ongoing one
I have a full week of early access starting from day 1 wave 2
I was under the impression that a AAA company like BW would actually put in some effort in fixing bugs and bringing everything together before releasing a product, to which they did not. Not even close.
The game was released with many, many gamebreaking features, mainly for healers which is what I play. However the biggest problem was server size and how BW chose to divide up guilds in the early access week.
BW placed many very large guilds on the same server, and then did nothing to prevent anyone and everyone (with new accounts) to create new characters on the server, thus skyrocketing the server queues to something which is far beyond acceptable. They then said that they were holding back the server limit and were going to increase it after release. IF this actually happened, it made 0 impact on the queues, as they actually worsened significantly even a week after official launch.
I Gave the game 2 weeks after launch to figure out the server shit, UI bugs, and general gamebreaking bugs. Nothing happened. I played for the one week of early access during which that game was supposed to be "finished" and then 2 weeks after OFFICIAL LIVE LAUNCH .
I have lost all respect for BW. I am considering just not even purchasing ME3 because of my dissapointment over this attempt at an MMO. It's a really effin good single player game, I'll give them that. But I'm not paying a subscription to repeat the same planets over and over on different characters.
The whole 200 hours per character thing? Yeah thats a lie. The questing is more linear then wow or any other MMO I've played. Sure your single storyline quest chain is different, but basically every other quest in the game is the same (only slightly different regarding RP when it comes to light side / dark side)
I regret spending money on the DDE version. I regret spending any money on this at all. I may come back and try it in a years time, if I have read that ALL of the bugs I was experiencing have been completely resolved. However, even then I still doubt they will be able to put something together that is in any way as enjoyable as other MMO's. People love this game because it is BW, they love it because it is Star Wars. In 2 months time, when everyone has reached level cap, they will quit, and I will be laughing.
